Now that students have returned for the 2018-19 school year, it’s time to get ready for Walk to School Day – October 10, 2018.
Thank you to all those who have registered for the 22nd annual event. Thousands of schools have signed up to participate. Schools that have not done so, are invited to join the movement and encouraged to registernow!

Please remember to bring in donations of stuffed animals and cakes for the cake walk (Friday and Saturday only), the more cakes/cupcakes/cookies, the longer we can keep the game running.
Please bring in cans of whipped cream (Friday and Saturday only), because, who doesn’t want to see their kid’s face in a pie!!!

Come join Wood Gormley in the 2018 Pet Parade!
This year our theme is "Wood Gormley... Welcoming Aliens from Across the Galaxy"
Please come wearing an Outer Space themed costume (alien, astronaut, Star Wars, etc.). Costumes can be as simple or elaborate as you like; none required to participate.
Well-mannered pets... costumes welcome too!
Candy and/or pet treats to hand out if you want (entirely optional).
Don't bring... any weapons (toy or real)
We will meet in the parking lot behind the New Mexico School for the Arts (227 E. Alameda) on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 8:15 a.m. Parade starts promptly at 9:00 a.m.
